Your story is worth

carrying forward

Sojourn Creative walks shoulder to shoulder with mission-driven organizations and growing businesses for a season. We build the strategy, film and edit the story, publish it on your channels, and run your ad campaigns, every month, until the story you've been carrying is out in the world where people can see it.

Talk to your ideal
customer and donor

"Going viral" means plenty of views, but it borrows a stranger's attention for a day. A story told through time earns trust. Show up online for the right reasons and you will be seen by the right audience: the people most likely to give, buy, or send someone your way, who already know your name by the time you ask.

We aim to create a community that trusts you.

What we do

Sojourn helps mission-driven organizations and growing businesses stay visible, earn trust, and grow support every month with story-driven video.

All of it done for you. You approve; we carry it.

A simple loop that compounds

Every season with Sojourn has a destination at the top and runs the same four moves, in the same order, for a reason. Strategy points the camera, the library earns the attention, and your ad budget goes only where the story has already proven it works.
We draw the map first
Before a camera comes out, we survey where your story stands, sit down and listen to the people who carry it, and hand you a written strategy: where you're headed, who you need to reach, which stories will reach them, and where every shoot day points. Every shoot day has a job before it's scheduled. Nothing gets filmed on a guess.
We build your library
Every month we script, shoot, edit, and publish story-driven video on your channels. Each month stocks a different shelf: your people, your proof, your process, your product. The library is yours to keep and reuse anytime.
We put your ad budget behind what's proven
Once the library shows which stories hold attention, we run your paid campaigns on your own ad account, aimed at the people who already watch your content and the people most like them. A warm audience costs a fraction of a cold one, so every campaign gets cheaper than the last.
Re-evaluate and repeat
Every quarter we read the numbers together: what published, what moved, what your dollars returned. If the terrain changed, the destination can change with it. Then the loop runs again, pointed at what worked, with a fuller library and a warmer audience than the quarter before. That's what compounding looks like.

Four parts. One team

One team carries every part, inside one monthly rate. You stop producing and start approving. Every season includes all four.

Discovery meeting
A recorded session where we listen to the story your organization has been carrying, from the origin to the stakes.
Reviewing the work on a monitor
Part two
The Map
A brand audit and content strategy built from the discovery: where your story stands, who it needs to reach, and the rolling roadmap every shoot day points at.
Two-camera interview setup on location
Part three
Content production
Scripting, shot-lists, shoot days, and edits planned from the Map and delivered ready for every platform, with hooks written for the way people actually watch.
Short-form content in production
Part four
Social media and ad management
Publishing across your channels, paid campaign strategy and management on your own ad account, and the numbers reported to you every month.
All of it done for you. You approve; we carry it.

A sojourner learns the ground
before building on it

Sojourn Creative was founded on an old pattern. A sojourner travels to a community for a season. They walk the ground and listen first. Then they work shoulder to shoulder with the people who live there, contribute something that outlasts the visit, and leave the community better able to carry the work forward.
That's how we treat every organization we serve, whether you run a nonprofit, a growing business, or something in between. We survey before we build. We listen before we recommend. And we measure the work, so you always know whether the story is moving.
Jian Salcedo, founder of Sojourn Creative

Sojourn is led by Jian Salcedo, a former ER charge nurse who traded the emergency room for a camera and brought the same discipline with him: pay attention first, act second, and reassess to see what worked.

Trusted by MAF, NightLight International, Pioneer Missions Global, Project Hope, Fellowship Bible Church, Dogwood Ranch, New Heritage Group, and more.

What we make

Every season runs on a roadmap with your goal at the top. Each shoot day is planned against it, each edit ships ready for the platform it lives on, and we publish it for you when it's done.
Brand story films
The flagship piece that says who you are and why it matters.
Documentary video
The work as it happens: customers, donors, teams, and the people you serve.
Event coverage
Galas, launches, and gatherings captured while they happen.
Photography
Documentary stills for campaigns, reports, and the web.
Reels & social ads
Short-form video cut for each platform, from direct-to-camera spots to paid cutdowns built from your library, all yours to run for years.
Quarterly re-score
Progress is measured, never assumed, so you always know what moved.
Need a full-scale commercial with a crew? We scope and quote those per project.
The Sojourn promise

If you ever walk away, you walk away with everything.

Everything we build during your season is yours. Raw footage, finished videos, strategy documents, the roadmap: a library you own and can reuse anytime.

If you leave, we hand it all over and wish you well. Clients stay because the work is moving forward, not because the exit is hard.

Everything we make is yours. Even if you leave.

One month to see how a season works

Behind the scenes on a Sojourn Creative shoot
Step one
Take the first read
Book a discovery call or take the free Storyline Assessment. We'll survey where your story stands today and recommend the right size season.

Step two
Walk one month with us
Your first month is the whole system in miniature, full service from day one at the regular rate. We survey your presence, sit down and listen, hand you the Map, then shoot, edit, and publish real content before the month is out. Everything we make is yours to keep, whether you stay or not. The first month is the most you'll ever pay.

Step three
Pick a destination and keep walking
At the end of the month we show you what was made and what moved, then recommend the road ahead: a season with a named destination and every shoot day between here and there already planned. Commit to finishing it and the price drops, because we both know we're arriving.

Two versions
of next year

In one

The story stays where it is. The work keeps happening, the posting stays sporadic, and every big moment starts from zero, asking strangers for attention at stranger prices.

In the other

You've been visible every single month. Your customers, your supporters, the people you most want to reach have watched the story unfold in real time, and your campaigns now speak to people who already know you, at a fraction of what strangers cost. When the moment comes to launch, to sell, to ask, to grow, you're not starting a campaign. You're finishing one you've been building all year.

A season with Sojourn ends with you owning every frame, every strategy document, an audience that already knows you, and a story the world has already started watching.
